Friday, Week Three

Hello everyone! I changed up my usual breakfast this morning, and I also ate outside today! It made my morning when I was joined by a friend who is very sweet!

I said goodbye to Eva today, and we gave her the box of prints we worked all day for. I was really happy to see how much she loved them! Eva is super cool and I loved hearing her tell stories and history. She works at the Foteviken museum, which is a restored viking settlement that acts as a museum. Eva is a tour guide there, and I'd recommend if anyone is going to Sweden that they pay the village a visit!

Class today focused more on having a set idea for our final, as next Friday is when we make our final presentations. You all have seen some of the photos I intend to be part of my grouping, but I won't go too far into detail until I present to you all as well! For now, enjoy the finished version of this photo!

Lunch was fantastic today! Though I will admit I had forgotten to take my medicine this morning so I didn't enjoy it as much, which was a shame.

We all went to dinner with Carla and Jack at the pizzeria. Carla is a former MSSU student, if I haven't already mentioned her. She now lives in Sweden with her husband Jack, and she is super cool and nice! She took us to the first Mullsjö church and cemetery after dinner. The original church was built in 1656 before it burned down sometime between then and when it was rebuilt in 1887. I also learned about one of the founding families of Mullsjö.

I'm back in my room now and ready to rest before throwing myself back into the darkroom tomorrow. I hope everyone has had a good day, and I hope you all find interesting and new things to learn about!

I'll see you soon!
