Hello everyone! I had a bit of a disappointing day today, but it did start off well with some breakfast.
Class went well, and it was really inspiring to hear Örjan's teaching. I am really excited to improve my photography and make prints I love and do what I think is interesting. We broke early to work on an assignment, and we ran into Tiger again.
Lunch was good, it was a lot like spaghetti red, but not greasy.
After lunch, my day had a bit of a hiccup. I was developing two rolls of film and my assignment roll came out perfect. My Kalmar Castle roll, however, yielded nothing. No one has an answer as to why it is the way it is, because the usual signs of issues during development are missing, so I'll have to talk to Örjan in the morning to see if he knows what's wrong. I'm really disappointed, I had worked really hard on taking those photos and there were a lot I was super excited for. Dinner went well though, and I had some hot cocoa for a change.
There is a guest at the Folkhögskola who is there to work as an interpreter for the conference that's being hosted and she was really nice and offered to wear traditional viking clothing from the 900's and be a model so we could have a photoshoot. I'm excited for that, though still pretty disappointed after loosing a whole roll of film. It's my first time loosing one, so I think that's a large part of my disappointment. Tomorrow will be a new day though, and I'll have my assignment film, at the very least. I got to see Tiger again too, he is really friendly (and he drools an absurd amount).
I'll see you soon!
