Monday, Week Two

Hello everyone! This is the first Monday without the students from the Folkhögskola. It's really quiet and strange to be just a few people now. I already miss talking with everyone, but I hope they all have a good summer and enjoy their time with friends and family! I was pretty tired this morning, so breakfast was relatively simple.

We spent the morning with Örjan, and I have a lot of homework to do! I don't mind really, I enjoy my time here and I love to stay busy, so it's nice to always have something to do. I also like how we can access the darkroom anytime before midnight and after seven in the morning. We had fika before we finished class for the day and I got to try my lavender honey I bought in Copenhagen!

Lunch was really good, we got to have Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes! I really enjoy the selection of food, and am very appreciative to have the staff making food for us during the summer.

I spent the next five hours in the darkroom, working on my distinct prints. I won't bore you all with my process photos, but I will post my completed products. These were all film I developed from Copenhagen.

National day in Sweden is tomorrow, so there wasn't dinner tonight. It worked out though, because our professor from MSSU provided us with dinner and it was really good! I'm thankful he did that for us, and I enjoyed sitting down with everyone and chatting!

I can't write for too long, I have a lot of work to do, but I hope everyone had a good day and that you all find joy in the work that you do!

I'll see you soon!
