Day Two in Hamburg

Hello everyone! I'm finishing up on my second day in Hamburg, we had a good time of it today! We started off with some free time before our first museum, so we went ahead and got some more pastries and strawberries!

After a calm start to our morning, we visited our first museum of the trip! As one of the largest art museums in Germany and home to three connected buildings housing artworks that cover seven centuries, Kunsthalle was a fantastic start to our art tour!

The entire main building, all the way down to the architecture, was beautiful! I really enjoyed the broad variety of artworks on show, and I've chosen three pieces to post for today's update!

Seashore in Moonlight by Caspar David Friedrich.

Simultaneous Windows by Robert Delauney.

Arcangelo II by Berlinde de Bruyckere.

After some time in the gallery, we went to lunch at a Chinese restaurant close to our hotel.

The food was very good, and after lunch we spent our free time with our film cameras snapping pictures of previous locations as well as some new ones!

Here's to a great day in Hamburg! I hope to see many more artworks in my time in Europe, I hope you all are well!
See you tomorrow!
